What the game is

King of Jade: Stone Tycoon is a management sim by developer 909Game, published by lvlv, released September 11, 2026 on Steam. You run a jade stall: buy raw stones, judge the jade hidden inside them, craft what you find into jewelry, and sell to a cast of recurring customers — all while rent keeps coming due. The official store page describes it as blending "jade stone gambling, jewelry crafting, market-stall trading, and strategic build-making."

The core loop, first hour

Based on the official description and the game's own achievement list:

  1. Source raw stones from the market. You start on Old Street with a small stall and limited cash.
  2. Judge the stone before you buy or after. The store page describes this as shining a light on the stone, scraping the skin, and "opening windows" to see the quality inside — you can buy a stone unexamined (a gamble) or pay to check it first. One of the game's own achievements is for buying a stone only after checking it under the appraisal lamp.
  3. Decide whether to cut further or cash out. The store page's own framing — "one cut can make your fortune, one cut can wipe you out" — signals a push-your-luck decision at each stage of opening a stone.
  4. Craft what you get into jewelry, or sell the raw stone directly. The achievement list confirms jewelry comes in 6 distinct styles (one achievement requires displaying all 6 at once in your display case).
  5. Sell to customers, who according to the achievements have individual "affection" levels that rise as you deal with them and can unlock character stories and CG art.
  6. Pay rent. Rent is a recurring pressure mechanic named directly on the store page and referenced in achievement names about paying rent on time.

Beyond Old Street

The store page states you move into "ever more challenging jade markets" after Old Street, "each one brings its own business cycle, rent pressure, and story to clear." The achievement list names two in-game markets by their real-world jade-trading namesakes: 腾冲老场 (Tengchong Old Market) and 平洲夜市 (Pingzhou Night Market) — both real jade markets in China that the game appears to model its locations on. There are 4 markets/chapters total, per the achievement for clearing all of them.

Unconfirmed for now

Specific numeric values — appraisal odds, exact prices, crafting costs, how affection points are earned per interaction — aren't published anywhere official yet (the game is 4 days old at the time of writing) and are marked Unconfirmed across this site until a verifiable source appears. See Stone Appraisal, Crafting and Customers & Relationships for what's confirmed of each system so far.
